This Octopus Print is a homage to an amazing encounter I had with a common octopus (Octopus vulgaris) during a swim one morning. These creatures are not only masters of disguise but also incredibly intelligent, with a brain that spans their entire body. I was fascinated by their ability to taste with their suckers, change texture and colour instantly, and their unique cooper based blue blood. Spending an hour with this octopus was a profound experience, reminding me of the diverse intelligence and beauty in our oceans.
Every purchase of this t-shirt supports Project Hiu, I will be donating 10% of all profits made from the sale of this shirt to this amazing organisation, Project Hiu are an organisation that re commission shark fishing boats in Bali and turn them in to sustainable tourist vessels, educating and training the local fisher men in alternative less damaging ways to create income.
